Assignments will be complete both inside and outside class and will be announced after each session. Such assignments are as follow:

Weekly assignments:

1. Read your assigned readings before each session so you’re ready to participate actively in our classes.

2. Start a journal where you’ll write your reflections, questions, wondering and things to pursue. You can also include the reflections following the session reflection in your session guide. Post your entries at the course forum http://www.learner.org/mailman/listinfo/channel-talklearning  or at the English Workshop Community www.groups.yahoo.com/group/theenglishworkshop  . You should keep a copy of everything you do in your folder at the English Workshop community.

Individual assignments:

Showcase Portfolio. You should create a folder at the English Workshop Community under your name and keep your work produced at the sessions as well as transcript from your conversations on line. At the end you’ll have to prepare a power point presentation to present your work and reflections to the group.

  In group assignment:

Select a scenario you want to explore at http://www.learner.org/channel/courses/learningclassroom/interactive.html  and work with the activities indicated there.

* You can select to present your portfolio or explore a scenario and present your findings to the group as a  final evaluation.
