In your English class, you’ll have the opportunity of
participating in a
collaborative and cooperative experience that will give you the chance to
meet and work with your classmates. Here you have some of the steps you’ll
have to follow to have a great learning adventure. |

you need to join a group. (4 students per group). |

You’ll have to select a Main Topic for your project. |

a. Name a leader responsible for the group.

b. Assign specific responsibilities within the group.
c. Write rules and sign a group contract.
d. Each student is expected to participate actively in the project.
e. Talk to your teacher if conflicts come up.

a. As a group decide on a main topic (something
you can relate to all the units in your level).
b. Select a title for your presentation.
c. Each member of the group should chose two units from the book and try to
relate the main topic to the selected units. (Get the plan book of your book
and read about the lessons you selected. Your group or tutor can help you
with this part)
d. After selecting your units, think of an interesting title for your part
of the presentation.
e. Write your name and school. |

5. Find a tutor:
a. Tutors can be contacted through e-mail, you don't have to meet him or her
face to face.
b. Tutors should be English speakers (students, teachers, relatives, friends,
classmates, etc).
c. Try to be in contact with your tutor during the whole project. Not only
once.
d. Fill worksheet 2 and show it to your teacher. Don’t forget to get your
tutor personal info and a picture. |
