In
your English class, you’ll have the opportunity of participating in a
collaborative and cooperative experience that will give you the chance to
meet and work with students from different engineering areas. Here you have
some of the steps you’ll have to follow to have a great learning adventure. |

Join a group: Groups of 4 students.
One student per discipline. (Computer science, informatics, industrial and
electronics engineer). |

Select a project: Think of a problem or a product and offer a
solution or a better service. Here you have what you have to consider when
putting your project together

and the solution (what do you suggest to make something better and for whom)

Ask yourself:

Solution to the problem:
Propose a solution to the problem. Consider the following
questions: |
What
can be done to solve the problem? What’s
the technology you’re proposing? How does this technology work? How can it
be used to solve the problem? How are you going to use it to solve the
problem? |

Conclusion and recommendations:
Explain why
you think your proposal is the best and offer some recommendations. |

3. Find a tutor.
Ask teachers in your school about ideas on how to put a project
together.
Teachers can be contacted through e-mail you don't have to meet him or her
face to face. You can have two tutors one to help you with your contents and
another to help you with corrections in English. To find info on
suitable tutors go to

Try to be in contact with your tutor during the whole project. Not only once. |

4.
Work on your project activities.
You and your group will work collaboratively and cooperatively in different
tasks to complete your project. This task are the following: |

Hand
in assignments on time. Project Tasks 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be evaluated within
the different terms. They are worth 2 credits of you term's grade. (1st,
2nd, 3rd, and 4th term). Project task 5 is the final presentation to see a
