This is about my family. Here I
describe my family. I chose to talk about my family because it is
easy and I’d like people to know my family a little better.
My Grandfather: His name is Filinto Barrios. He was born in
Caracas on July second nineteenth thirty five. He is seventy years
old. His first language is Spanish. He is a Doctor. He has five
children and seven grandchildren. He is short and serious. His
skin is dark and he has black eyes.
My Grandmother: Her name is Maria Teresa Bracho. She was
born in Caracas. Her birthday is on August the second. Where she
lives, there is cold weather. Her favorite sport is baseball. She
loves instrumental music. Her favorite color is red.
My Mother: Her name is Yadira. She Gets up at five in the
morning. She makes the coffee to my father at 6:30 in the morning
and takes my brother to school, at eleven. She arrives to the
house to prepare lunch. She goes to bed at 2:00 o’ clock and
watches TV.
My Father: His name is Tony. He is unemployed. He Works as
a taxi driver. He plays softball in the afternoon, and at night
walks with my mother. He Likes the hamburgers and pizzas.
My Brother: His name is Jose Jesus. His favorite sport is
Soccer. He is short; he has brown skin, has brown eyes and is very
smart. He likes the rain his dream is to know the United States.
He studies fifth grade. He is ten years old and his birthday is on
November twenty sixth. He is shy and nervous.
My favorite person in my family is my mother because she is
loving, generous, very smart, very funny, happy and very
optimistic. She Likes dream. Her favorite food are pizzas and
pasta.
Preparing for my oral presentation
and writing this report has helped me a lot. I have the
opportunity to tell my partners about my family. I learned new
vocabulary and practice my pronunciation.
